Dr. Melissa Hughes Garcia is a distinguished Clinical Geriatrician with a professional and academic career dedicated to promoting the health and dignity of older adults.
A graduate of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), where she earned both her Bachelor of Medicine degree and her specialization in Clinical Geriatrics, Dr. Hughes combines her profound clinical knowledge with a strong managerial and humanistic vision.
Currently, she serves as Medical Director at Hospital Nova, where she promotes the implementation of patient-centered care models with a holistic approach. Her leadership experience is complemented by a Diploma in Senior Management and Leadership. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Geriatrics Specialization program, training new generations of specialists in her field.
